Tomeshyia Ford is a Detroit-born creative entrepreneur, former national-stage actress, and the Founder and Executive Producer of Eleganze Productions, an independent Michigan-based production company developing original television and media properties.
Her professional stage experience gave her firsthand exposure to performance, production, audiences and storytelling. Over time, her ambition evolved from performing inside someone else's vision to creating, developing and leading a vision of her own.
Through Eleganze Productions, Ford develops character-driven unscripted entertainment centered on distinctive voices and substantive human stories. She is the creator and executive producer of HE IS HIM: DETROIT, the company's priority original series in development, and SHE IS HER: DETROIT, a companion property also in development.
Her work represents a return to entertainment with ownership behind the vision: from performer to creator, founder and executive producer.
