Set against Detroit’s distinct culture of resilience and reinvention, the series explores men building careers and businesses, raising families, repairing what life has fractured, confronting expectations, strengthening relationships, serving community and defining the legacies they intend to leave.
The story lives in the present tense: what is happening now, what is at risk and what must change?
